Yaseva is the founder and force behind Democracy Excellence's 'Smart - Joy Street' program. He is an engineer, social innovator, songwriter, spiritual activist and social entrepreneur. Yaseva discovered the missing mechanism in democracy and strongly believes that 'Smart - Joy Street' fills this gap to catalyse people participation at street level, drawing their focus on the common good of the street and its residents.
Yogacharini Maitreyi is a yoga exponent and Holistic Harmoniser. She is the founder of Arkaya Awareness Center - Foundation for Children. She is a teacher, trainer and mentor building evolutionaries and 'Conscious Communities' around the world. Yogacharini Maitreyi has been a resource person for our Street Parliament program and provides multidisciplinary inputs for the integration of the individual which is key for individual purpose fulfillment.
Joseph Rathinam is a versatile teacher and trainer of 'Sociocracy', the basic process behind Smart - Joy Street. He has over twenty five years of experience in this and has trained thousands of children all over India in Neighbourhood Parliament. He also teaches life coping skills and English language for youth to make them employable and inspires them to consider social entrepreneurship as a career.
Deepamala holds a Ph.D. in political science and international relations and is passionate to see the manifestation of democracy wherein everyone is engaged in the process of co-creating for the common good. She has a special interest to work towards ensuring that government policies and budget allocations are available to the people. She also closely engages with leading industries in channelizing their corporate social responsibility effectively.
